Let’s Get Started
Complete your mandatory training in three easy steps.
Â
1. Complete Your E-learning
Download the user friendly guide to create your e-learning account and complete your theory.Â
Please complete 21 modules on the E-lfh website and 2 modules on the Care Learning platform, which together combine the e-learning required for Mandatory & Statutory training.
We recommend giving yourself 2 weeks to peacefully complete this.Â
2. Submit Your E-learning
Let us know once you’ve completed your e-learning.
After finishing all the modules, download & email us the full certificate titled “Statutory & Mandatory Training,” which will show all completed modules.
This is the only certificate we require on this site; please do not send individual certificates for each module, as these will not be accepted.
Additionally, please include the two certificates from the Care Learning Platform.
In total, only three training certificates should be emailed to us.
If you have any issues downloading it, please contact us at [email protected].
3. Attend Your Practical Training
Join the Practical Training
Once we’ve received your full certificate, we’ll confirm your spot in the practical session.
Please download the ‘ Training Day Information’ to prepare for your session.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Mandatory and statutory training refers to the essential training healthcare professionals must complete to meet legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements. It ensures staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver safe and effective care.
All healthcare workers, including new staff, experienced professionals, and anyone working in environments such as hospitals, care homes, and clinics, are required to complete this training.
The e-learning portion typically takes about two weeks to complete at a comfortable pace. The practical session is completed in one full day session.
The practical session runs from 09:30 to 15:30, with registration starting at 09:15. Please ensure you arrive by 09:15 to complete the registration process before the session begins.
No, you must complete all e-learning modules and submit your final certificate before attending the practical session. This ensures you have the necessary theoretical knowledge for hands-on training.
After registering and selecting your practical session date, you will be redirected to the instruction page on how to access the e-learning portal/s.
If the e-learning is not completed before the scheduled practical session, you will need to reschedule your practical session until the e-learning is finished and the final certificate is submitted.
Once you complete all e-learning modules, email your final certificate to [email protected] to confirm your place in the practical session.
Yes, upon successful completion of both the e-learning and practical session, you will receive a certificate confirming your competency in the required skills.
The e-learning modules are aligned with the Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF). While the practical session is in the process of being formally certified, it is delivered by a highly experienced nurse with a strong background in delivering NHS training. This practical training has successfully helped many individuals secure roles within the healthcare industry.
Mandatory training typically needs to be refreshed annually or as specified by your employer or regulatory body.
Refunds are not permitted; however, we will honour your booking and transfer your place to another practical session with at least 5 days’ notice.
No, we are solely a training provider and cannot assist in securing employment. The training equips you with the necessary skills, but job placement is not part of our service.
We cannot confirm the quality or alignment of training from other providers. However, if you choose to proceed with external theory training, it is at your discretion. We recommend using our preferred training platforms, as they are mapped to meet industry standards.
